The Space Where I Learn

A reverso is a poem with two halves. In a reverso, the second half reverses the lines from the first half, with changes only in punctuation and capitalization — and it has to say something completely different from the first half.

My class
creates a long day.
Time alone
is scare.
Dealing with drama:
easier said than done.
Letting go is
necessary to survive.
My class feels
harder each day.
Going home gets
the job done.
When is
time to breathe?
I sit in my classroom
with my 23 kids.
With my 23 kids,
I sit in my classroom:
time to breathe.
When is
the job done?
Going home gets
harder each day!

necessary to survive.
Letting go is

My class!

    Visiting your site taught me
    1. About the reverso poem
    2. what an authentic writing changes yet remains true depending on the situation
    3. Being a leaner is good for me.

    Best wishes.
